Morocco coach Henri Michel insisted on Thursday that he will not quit despite the team's African Nations Cup first round exit.
"I have a contract until 2010 to get Morocco to the World Cup finals," said the Frenchman who claimed he also had the backing of the country's football federation.

Morocco were dumped out of the African Nations Cup in Ghana after losing to the hosts and Guinea, only managing to beat minnows Namibia.
But Michel said there were "structural problems" in Moroccan football.

"Moroccan clubs have to agree that the priority is training. We have to have players who can measure up to foreign players," said Michel who lamented that the team does not have world clas players like Ivory Coast's Didier Drogba or Samuel Eto'o of Cameroon.
