Cairo, Egypt (PANA) - Egyptian striker Ahmed Hossam "Mido", says Cote d'Ivoire, will pose no problem to the host country in their last group match here Saturday.
Both countries are already through to the quarterfinals in the 16-team Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) tournament.
"Our chances are good to prevail over Cote d'Ivoire. The match will be easier than the one against Morocco," declared Mido, who also plays for English Premier club Tottenham Hotspurs.
"The Ivorian side has several weak spots in defence and we can capitalise on them to win the match and end up as leaders of our group," he boasted.
"We want to finish as leaders of the group, not because we fear Cameroon (in the quarterfinal), but because that will help us gather more confidence ahead of the second round series" Mido affirmed.
Egypt is Group A with Cote d'Ivoire, Morocco and Libya.
