Nairobi, Kenya (PANA) - If all goes well, Kenyan striker Dennis Oliech could formalize his move to French club FC Nantes by this weekend, the player's manager Nixon Onywnada has revealed.
Oliech, who has left his club Al Arabi of Qatar, landed in France on Christmas Day where he is expected to undergo a medical as part of the process of joining the French club, Onywanda told journalists Wednesday.
If he pulls the deal, Oliech, who also turns out for the Kenyan national team 'Harambee Stars', will be the first Kenyan professional to ply his trade in France.
He will also be among some 10 Kenyans playing professional football in Europe, specifically in Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and Serbia and Montenegro.
