Lemerre has announced a 23-member squad for the African Cup of Nations
(CAN) finals billed for Egypt from 20 January to 10 February.

Most of those selected were in the outfit that won the CAN 2004 finals
except Sfaxien's defender Merdassi and Esperance's centre forward Amine
Letaïef, top scorer in the current national league, who will make his
debut in the national team.
The "Carthage Eagles" are beginning residential training Monday at the
Hammamet resort, 70 km southeast of here, where they usually undertake
preparations for major encounters.
The CAN holders will play test matches in Rades stadium near Tunis
against Libya and Ghana on 12 and 15 January before leaving for
Alexandria, Egypt.
Tunisia is grouped with Guinea, South Africa and Zambia.
