Rabat, Morocco (PANA) - The Moroccan national football team will face counterparts from Zimbabwe and Angola as part of its preparations for the 2006 African Cup of Nations scheduled for Egypt from 20 January to 10 February.
The encounters, which will be held in Marrakech (250 km South of Rabat), will respectively take place on 14 and 17 January.
Before the matches, the Atlas Lions will play a friendly against DR Congo at the Moulay Abdallah Sports complex in Rabat next Monday.
Morocco is in Group A with hosts Egypt, Cote d'Ivoire and Libya.
Zimbabwe is in Group D with Nigeria, Ghana and Senegal while Angola, which also qualified for the 2006 World Cup in Germany, is in Group B with Cameroon, Togo and DR Congo.
