  List of DR Congo's players for CAN finals out

Kinshasa, DR Congo (PANA) - The Congolese Football Federation Association (FECOFA) has released a list of 23 players for CAN/2006 in Egypt, which must in principle be submitted to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo by Tuesday.

Five players, including professionals Mazowa and Masudi ad well as three locally based ones, namely Mbokani, Kaluyituk Adioko and Kasongo, have been dropped from the list of 28 originally selected. The five were expected to return to Kinshasa on Tuesday.

The full list of 23 "Simba" players retained by FECOFA is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Pascal Kalemba, Francis Chansa, Dikete Tapungu.

Defenders: Belmond Nsumbu, Gladys Bokese, Tshiolola Tshinyama, Cyrille Mubiala, Kabundi Tshiamalenga, Lubanzadio Mayasifilua, Hérita Ilunga.

Midfielders: Mbayo Kimbemba, Milambo Mutamba, Ilongo Ngansania, Makiadi Cédric, Franck Matingou, Kamudimba Kalala, Matumona Zola, Trésor Mputu, Mbala Mbuta Biscotte.

Strikers: Trésor Lomama Lualua, Lelo Ndele, Calvin Zola Makongo, Kabamba Musasa, and Patrick Kazadi.
