Nigeria's captain, Austin "Jay-Jay" Okocha, will be in the starting line-up for the Super Eagles against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in their crucial quarterfinal match here Saturday, according to a member of the Nigerian coaching crew.
Sidelined by injury, the Nigerian and English Bolton Wanderers' playmaker had been watching the Africa Cup of Nations games from the bench.
But a member of the Super Eagles coaching crew told PANA Saturday: "Okocha is fully fit and this explained why he trained for 90 minutes in the final work out at El-Merrick Stadium (Friday)."
"For now, there is no question about his state of health, his come back is a big boost to the squad," the assistant coach revealed.
The Super Eagles trained behind closed doors Friday, and the players' mood after the training was very high.
