Teams in group C of the current Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana will taste action Tuesday (today), the third day of competition at the tournament.
So far, all the teams in groups A (Ghana, Guinea, Namibia and Morocco) and B (Benin, Cote d'Ivoire, Nigeria and Mali) have played their opening matches in the three-week competition.
On Tuesday, it will be the turn of the four teams in group C - Egypt, Cameroon, Sudan and Zambia - to taste action, with the Pharaohs taking on the Indomitable Lions and the Desert Hawks of Sudan taking on the Chipolopolo of Zambia.
Both matches are slated for Kumasi, one the four venues for the competition (others are Accra, Sekondi and Tamale).
On Wednesday, teams in group D (Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia and Angola) will trade tackles in their opening matches, before action returns to other groups.
