Injury-hit Arsenal centre-half Kolo Toure Wednesday night joined the rest of the Ivory Coast squad in training ahead of their 2008 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final against Egypt.
Toure suffered a groin injury in his team's Group B match against Benin and has not played eversince but his appearance at Wednesday's late training inside the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi raised hopes he could well play a part against Egypt.
The Arsenal star did stretching and running exercises before he joined the rest of the team to do some ball work. He also took part in tactical two-a-side training which saw him feature for the second team.
Romania-based defender Contant Djakpa though did not take any part in the day's training as he is nursing a left ankle injury.
The Ivorians are set to start the Chelsea forwards Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou, who will play mostly on the left side and behind the Ivorian skipper.
