Veteran striker Titi Camara on Sunday announced his retirement from international football following Guinea's heartbreaking last minute defeat to Mali in the African Nations Cup quarter-finals.
The 31-year-old, who has played for the national team for 15 years, was instrumental in taking his country to the knockout stages of the tournament for the first time in 28 years by scoring three goals.
"I think it's time for me to say goodbye to my international career because I have been playing for the team for a long time," said the former Marseille, Liverpool and West Ham star.
Camara will continue to play club football in Qatar.
Guinea took the lead against Mali in Saturday's quarter-final but eventually lost 2-1 thanks to an injury-time goal from Mahamadou Diarra.
