Nigeria skipper Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha has been picked by the Confederation of African football (CAF) in an African Nations Cup best eleven.
The 30-year-old Bolton Wanderers midfielder, who has already been picked by the organisers as the Most Valuable Player of the championship, was picked alongside three other members of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, who placed third in the competition.
Enyimba of Aba goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama was selected as first-choice goalkeeper ahead of Morocco's Khalid Fouhami while RC Lens of France forward John Utaka, who netted three goals in the tournament, also made the first team.
Everton defender Joseph Yobo was picked among the substitute players who also include experienced Morocco skipper Noureddine Naybet, Titi Camara of Guinea and Modeste Mbami from Cameroon.
First choice players included Morocco defenders Regragui Walid and Abdeslam Ouaddou, Tunisia skipper Khaled Badra and Essama Atouba from Cameroon.
The midfielders were Okocha, Algeria's Karim Ziani, Utaka and Riadh Bouazizi of Tunisia while the twin strike force is Mali's Frederic Kanoute and Youssef Hadji of Morocco.
