Mali and Nigeria hope to bury the misery of their African Nations Cup semi-final defeats by clinching the consolation of winning the third-place play-off when they meet here on Friday.
"My players were in tears on Wednesday," said Mali coach Henri Stambouli after seeing his side lose 4-0 to Morocco in the semi-final in Sousse.
"It could be hard to lift their spirits for a third-place match."
Nigeria, beaten by Tunisia on a penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw in their last four match at Rades, intend to field a full strength team with the only changes from Wednesday's side being Ikpe Ekong and Romanus Orjinta stepping in for the suspended Oluwaseyi Olofinjana and Isaac Okoronkwo.
"We want to win that match to take something from the tournament. The Nigerian people have started to once again believe in the team," said Nigeria coach Christian Chukwu.
