Top scorer Frederic Kanoute believes Mali will find a hole in Morocco's water-tight defence and lead his team into the African Nations Cup final.
The Tottenham striker, whose four goals have helped his new country into a second successive semi-final, predicted that the north Africans can be penetrated especially since influential defender Talal El Karkouri has been ruled out of Wednesday's match with a calf injury.
"I don't do too many calculations but I do know that Morocco will be dangerous in attack and tough at the back with Noureddine Naybet there who is hard to get past.
"I have never played against him before, but we are ready. We have the players capable of making a difference."
With Patrick Mboma, who also hit four goals, out of the reckoning after Cameroon's exit, Kanoute now has a free run at the top scorer award.
"I am going to try and be top scorer but it is not my main objective," said the 26-year-old.
"The priority is for Mali to win. After that, if I am top scorer it will give me great pleasure."
Kanoute, who switched allegiance from France to play for Mali, said he desperately wanted to win the Nations Cup as a thank-you to his new country.
"I want to give the people of Mali something in return. So far, we have been successful but it would be shame if it came to an end at the semi-final stage.
"It's where we lost at home two years ago."
