Okocha is a genius, says Tunisian star

Nigerian skipper Jay Jay Okocha has been hailed as a 'genius' by the man handed the daunting prospect of keeping him under wraps in Wednesday's African Nations Cup semi-final.
Tunisia midfielder Selim Benachour knows that keeping his hero, and former Paris Saint Germain teammate, quiet will be key to the hosts winning and reaching Saturday's final.
"For me, it will be very special to play against Jay Jay," said Benachour.
"I rubbed shoulders with him at PSG but only in training. I was 17 or 18 at the time and I hadn't played at all in the first division.
"But Okocha is a genius. He can do exceptional things with a football so we will have to keep a very close eye on him."
Okocha spent four seasons at PSG from 1998-2002 before moving to present club Bolton in the English Premiership and Benachour knows that the challenge of facing the Nigerian skipper and his team will be their most daunting task yet of the tournament.
"I watched the second half of their win against Cameroon and I thought they were very good technically," said the midfielder.
"They play lots of short little passes."
Benachour is also hoping the semi-final will be a joy to play in and to watch for the fans as opposed to their quarter-final win against Senegal which resembled more of a street brawl.
The match imploded when Senegalese officials ran onto the pitch and held up play for five minutes as they protested the winning goal.
"I couldn't understand why the Senegalese did that. Their players were already very nervous and it was a real shame.
"I hope we are going to see a much better spectacle in the semi-final."
