Tunisian striker Silva dos Santos pledged on Tuesday to win the African Nations Cup and dedicate it to coach Roger Lemerre.
"He is one of the best coaches I know. His style and way of training have brought a lot to the team," said the Brazilian-born player whose three goals and all-round play have contributed a great deal to Tunisia's progress to the semi-finals where they face Nigeria on Wednesday.
"I think that because of Roger Lemerre, we will reap the fruits of all his work in the future."
Santos, now a naturalised Tunisian and who has already been pinpointed by Nigerian coach Christian Chukwu as the dangerman, also praised his teammates for helping him settle into the national squad.
"I am very happy to play for Tunisia and the welcome for me has been very warm. All of this has helped me settle into the squad. For my part, I promise always to give my best to the team."
