Tunisia beat Zambia 1-0 in a friendly match played Tuesday evening in Radès as part of the two teams' preparations for the 26th Africa Cup of Nations slated for Ghana 20 January to 10 February.
The goal was scored by Yacine Chikhaoui, who plays for the Swiss club FC Zurich, after 70 minutes.
In the first leg played last Sunday, Zambia's "Chipolopolo" had defeated the Tunisians 2-1.
Despite the win by the Tunisians, analysts said the team's handlers must retool its offence to make it more effective.
Coach Roger Lemerre will get a last opportunity to make amends when his team takes on Iran in its last friendly 16 January in Tunis, before travelling to Ghana.
Tunisia is drawn alongside Senegal, South Africa and Angola in group D of the competition, while Zambia is in Group C together with titleholder Egypt, Cameroon and Sudan.
