Senegal's captain Ferdinand Coly is set to miss his side's 25th African Cup of Nations semi-finals match against Egypt in Cairo Stadium on Tuesday, football sources said here.
The injured 33-year-old defender did not take part in the last training on Monday, except for running around the track before the session started.
Pape Diakhate is likely to replace Coly in the starting line-up in Tuesday's game, the sources said.
Bolton star El Hadji Diouf participated in the entire session and looked in a good form despite reports suggesting that he was not fit for the game.
Either Frederic Mendy or Mamadou Niang will partnering Henri Camara in the front line in case Diouf was unable to start, the sources added.
The 90-minute training concluded with spot kicks practices in which second-choice goalkeeper Papa Diouf put on an outstanding display parrying more than one shot.
With Senegal tackling Egypt in Cairo, Cote d'Ivoire will take on Nigeria in Alexandria on Tuesday.
