Tunisian coach Roger Lemerre urged the victorious Nigerian team to continue with their current form as exhibited against his team on Saturday at Port Said in order to win the African Cup of Nations next Friday.
The former national team coach of France expressed his feelings moments after his side lost to the Super Eagles 6-7 in a tension soaked penalty shootout.
"I have said it before that Nigeria will be a difficult team to beat in this tournament and that was what they had done against my team today Saturday. If they continue like this, not even the host, Egypt, can stop them.
"I must also say that luck was on their side today the same way we were lucky to eliminate Nigeria two years ago. But my general overview of the match is that we played against a team that has strength as a major weapon and they used it very well against my players," he added.
