Alexandria, Egypt (PANA) - Coach Roger Lemerre of the 'Carthage Eagles' of Tunisia has lauded the qualities of striker Francileudo Dos Santos whose hat-trick in Sunday's 4-1 trashing of Zambia moved the African champion to the top of Group C.
"Our supremacy and domination were clear, mainly thanks to Dos Santos, a player with big qualities," the coach told PANA here.
"Zambia's goal was somewhat surprising but even after that, we didn't give up and continued to build our game," he said, adding: "The two sides started the match well, although its beginning was largely different from its end."
"It's possible that the final score does not totally reflect what happened in the match," Lemerre pointed out.
In the other group match, Guinea walked over South Africa 2-0 to clinch second slot after the North Africans who lead on goals aggregate.
