Ivorian striker Cyril Domoraud has expressed optimism that his team would win one of the semi-finals matches of the 25th African Cup of Nations contest to be played against Nigeria on Tuesday, and qualify for the final on 10 February.
"The fixture against Nigeria will not be any easier than the one against Cameroon but we are sure of winning it," he said, expressing his wish to meet hosts Egypt.
"I think Senegal also has a chance to qualify for the final because it is a team that has much talent and experience but I would rather face Egypt in order to play before a large public full of enthusiasm," he added.
The Elephants of Côte d'Ivoire qualified last Friday for the semi-finals by beating Cameroon in a dramatic penalty shootout (12-11) after the two teams tied (1-1) at the end of extra time.
